When pop star Katy Perry paid a visit to a Philadelphia art museum clad in a hoodie-to-footies pizza-print onesie, it was just the most recent in the mainstreaming of a formerly-fringe trend wherein seapunk aesthetics collide with a culture of Coachella-casual to create a fad which Salon recently dubbed "toddlercore."
