Anna Sale, host and managing editor of "Death, Sex, and Money," shares some recent research by journalist Kevin Knodell for War is Boring into the Communist origins of the phrase "Gung-Ho." The Maoist work slogan was brought to the US Marines and Western culture at large by an American officer impressed by a tour of China in 1937.
