In episode 306, we put together highlights from our recent live show at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. Besides Michael Ian Black’s hilariously inappropriate etiquette advice, Marlon James’s fantastic reading about letting his inner diva strut, and soul-stirring live performances from Angel Olsen and Lizzo, we have another element from the event we’d like to share.
Just before the show, while the crowd was mingling and trying out the night’s specialty cocktail, we put on a few tunes hand-picked by Chadwick “The Lonesome Cowboy” Brown, to help set the mood for the night.
We’ve added most of his pre-/post-show tracks to a Spotify playlist; feel free to subscribe! You can also see a list of songs below, complete with YouTube links too. Huzzah!
